The Mathematics Village

The workshop will be held in the Nesin Foundation Mathematics Village. The village is located in the historic town of Şirince (85 km south of the city of İzmir) most famous for its local wineries which produce a large variety of fruit wines.

For those arriving via İzmir airport we will try to arrange shuttle services to and from the airport on selected dates. For more detailed information on how to get to the Mathematics village from various nearby locations check out this link.

Lecture & Mess Hall

All lectures will be held at the large two storeyed Sevan Nişanyan Library and lecture hall. A jewel of architectural design the Sevan Nişanyan library hosts a proud collection of over 15,000 books and the adjacent patio is perfect for relaxing, reading or stargazing.

All meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner) will be served at the "Bolkepçe Mess Hall" (can be loosely translated as "Heaping Portions Mess Hall") directly below the great library. Additionally there is a small cantine area adjacent to the mess hall which is great for studying, relaxing and socializing.

Lodging

All participants will be housed in dormitory style rooms. In addition several other lodging options are available including private rooms (150 TL per night), studio housing (240 TL per night) and camp site (75 TL per night per tent).
