Over the last three years the Ecology and Evolution Network of Turkey (now the EcoEvo Society) has continually supported or actively organized workshops aiming to bring forth and spread the quantitative and theorietical aspects of ecology and evolution to the local scientific community. It is our never ending goal to keep setting up such workshops which will one day, hopefully, accumulate into a rich scientific heritage for future generations.
Mathematical Evolution Workshop, 2015

The workshop took place in Nesin Mathematics Village between 6-13 September. The theme was evolutionary and population genetics with key lectures given by prominent faculy as well as study groups led by young scientists. For more information and snapshots follow the link.

Workshop on Quantitative Evolutionary Biology, 2014

The workshop took place in Nesin Mathematics Village between 14 - 21 September. Major topics in population genetics, molecular evolution and evolutionary modeling were covered by leading scientists in their fields as well as short lectures and study groups led by young scientists. For more information and snapshots, please follow the link.

Workshop on Theoretical Evolutionary Biology, 2013

The workshop took place in Nesin Mathematics Village between 13 - 15 September. This was the first ever workshop in Turkey covering mathematical and theoretical aspects of evolutionary biology with key lectures and study groups led by mostly young faculty and scientisits. For more information and snapshots, please follow the link.
